since i know most of the visitors who will view this site are OFW's i find this topic interesting... well, let me start sharing my views regarding this topic...

there are certain factors to make LDR successful...

first---learn to COMMUNICATE!
Giving your partner details that make you laugh, cry, sad, anxious,and other feelings. This is kinda important so that he/she can feel na parang magkatabi lang kayo. It's must be TWO-WAY Traffic!

second---learn to have TIME for both of you
Ano na yung i-txt mo sya or email saying "take care, hello, hi, good day or any other sweet messages that will inspire him/her to face the day with a smile.

third---learn to TRUST your partner
It is true that you're both on the opposite poles and there are many "destructions" that you will definitely encounter. Beware, coz sometimes jealousy will come when you don't trust your partner.

FINALLY, Pray to GOD that both of you will continue to LOVE each other even if you're thousand of miles away.

Well, i wish to see lots of post here sharing you're own experiences

long distance relationship is the pits. if you are unlucky (or lucky, depends on how you view it) enough to have one, then it takes a lot of effort to make it work.

communication is very, very important. it is important that details are ironed out. no white lies please. and however bad the news, it is better that you will learn it first from your partner rather than from someone else.

trust is the thing. if it is not there, then the relationship is good as gone. isn't it taxing wondering, day in and day out, what is he /she doing over there at this time? who is he/she with?

for those people who are into this thing, kudos to you! for those who are planning to, goodluck!
